What is managed Hermes Agent hosting?

Cagebox runs Hermes Agent (Nous Research's open-source agent) for you, each one in its own virtual machine with a desktop and a browser. You chat with it on the web or on Telegram; we handle the machine, updates, sleep and wake. No Docker, SSH or server to maintain.

Do I need my own model API key?

No. The Day pass and the $50 plan include model credits. On every plan you can also bring your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter or another provider; it is stored encrypted and only unlocked inside your agent's machine.

Is my Hermes agent always reachable?

Yes. Between tasks it sleeps with its state saved to disk, and a message, a scheduled job or opening its screen wakes it in about a second — so it always answers without you babysitting a server.

Can I see what Hermes is doing?

Yes. Every step it takes is listed next to the conversation, and its computer's screen can be watched live. When it needs a person — a sign-in or a code — it asks in the chat and waits until you press Done.
